Evil On Call 02:56
I'll light the fire if you'll be the flame My Murderous look and you'll learn my name Everyone who's rich and everyone who's poor I search you out I search you out You'll like me, I'm on call Don't cry to me I want it It's too late, It's too bad I'm in your head your heartbreak The money in my pocket the hurt at my hand Makes me feel like I'm a lucky man Everyone who's sick and everyone who's sane I search you out and I bring you down You'll like me, I'm on call Don't cry to me I want it It's too late, it's too bad I'm in your head your heartbreak
2.
It's A Trap 03:22
Sad eyes, you’re sorry now That dress he gave you has come alive And it tears at your skin all those places within And you know it’s a trap by design What can it mean? What was wrong with me? You’ve been bereft of yourself in his fantasy And if the shadows on the walls don’t show you what you need You’ll be alone in the dark anyway Stone cold, stone heart That mess he made had come alive And it pulls at your strings all those place you’ve been You just know it’s a trap it’s a lie What can it mean? What was wrong with me? You’ve been bereft of yourself in his fantasy And if the shadows on the walls don’t show you what you need You’ll be alone in the dark anyway
3.
Vexed 03:34
I left my life on the side of the road told my story to the light of the moon I've got plenty of patience but not enough time It keeps me away from you so what's fair? and what's true? If it's bad for me it's bad for you And they couldn't wait to leave you Could not wait to let you down I couldn't wait to see you but they'd already turned I've got too many pages and not enough light I see their face in the middle of the night I've got plenty of failure to keep me alive Keep me away from you so what's fair? and what's true? If it's bad for me it's bad for you And they couldn't wait to leave you Could not wait to let you down I couldn't wait to see you but they'd already turned
4.
At The Mercy Of The Skies They make the sun go down They make the rain subside We’re so demanding, double handling You won’t embrace the light Take what you need Not what you want They could take my life And I could leave right now We’re so demanding, happy landing You won’t embrace the light Take what you need Not what you want Take what you need Not what you want Can you relieve my eyes Take the second sight We’re so demanding Now here standing You won’t embrace the night Take what you need Not what you want Take what you need Not what you want
5.
Don't Stay 04:32
Does a drowning man die alone? Sleeps in hands he'll never know with the water now, hands unbound the wait is over its determined now That you say goodbye to all you know take your place in the wind we rise we fall Waves unfurled wings unborn bones unbroken you won't ask for more with the way i feel and the weight unknown cirlces broken on the stones below Now you say goodbye to all you know take your place in the wind we rise we fall don't stay with me dont change your mind take your place in the wind we rise we fall say goodbye to all you know take your place in the wind we rise we fall don't stay with me, don't change your mind Take your place in the wind we rise we fall Does a drowning man die alone?
6.
Unherd 03:15
Unherd, I went unnoticed and I felt it to my core So proud, their voices rain on me they make me feel so Important, Important I fit right in and everyone agrees with me Believes the same thing that we can't be wrong Turn around, you know I wanted to be on your side Beneath what you see it's a dream remember to be ordinary One word, unspoken I've had my say but nothing changes One life, it's a million I play that game it makes me feel so Important, important I fit right in and everyone agrees with me believes the same thing that you can't be wrong I Turn around, you know I wanted to be on your side Beneath what you see it's a dream Remember you were on your own I took a break from the crowd You know I wanted to be on your side We live what we learn, it's a dream Remember to be ordinary Turn around, you know I wanted to be on your side beneath what you see it's a dream Remember you were on your own I took a break from the crowd You know I wanted to be on your side We live what we learn it's a dream Remember you were ordinary, ordinary, ordinary
7.
Run 03:24
Well I guess I was dreaming I was in Someone elses place in their time And I guess I believe I’m free Your secrets are safer than mine Turn down the lights Take your hand from the wheel now Do I think I’m the only one Who’s leaving no one behind You learn to run You learn to fly Show us how you lose control Show us how you break their hold You learn to run You learn to fly You learn to leave You learn to hide
8.
Malaise 03:40
I don’t try to wake From my malaise All lies are true, they’re truer than you All that I have is in flames. The bad and the good You lie in wait you ache for the cure I try to reach for something that dies in my hands like rain We all run from the scene Too wretched like me And all lies are true If you’re somebodies fool, yeah All that I have is in flames The bad and the good You lie in wait you ache for the cure I try to reach for something that dies in my hands like rain Yeah when all that you have is in flames The bad and the good You lie in wait you ache for the cure I try to reach for something that dies in my hands like rain
9.
In My Room 03:16
You seem uncomfortable. But it’s my space, it’s my room I feed, I bleed Like an animal, animal I seethe And I need to be alone I cannot sleep enough to rise above it What do you need to be alive? I cannot speak and so I You feel responsible But it’s my fate, it’s my room I feed, I bleed Like an animal, animal I seethe yeah And I need to be alone I cannot sleep enough to rise above it What do you need to be alive I cannot speak and so I We leave tonight, we’ll be outside
10.
I remember all the warnings No one knew you lost your way out Remind me of the stories Bits and pieces tie us over They love you still They always will Even though you’re more Once they knew me but now they Take my name out With a blind fold they try and hide it See inside you won’t recognise me now A begger you saw more Hold my hand out to only scorn They love you still They always will Even though they’re more Once they knew me but now they Take my name out Now they find you on the walkway Frozen so now move on The nightmare is changing Likely to drag me under They love you still They always will Even though you’re more Once they knew me but now they Never knew me but now they Cannot put this behind me Take my name out
11.
Back to work we go Breathe in the sigh Everywhere you go Eats into your mind So slide, in the blink of an eye it’s gone Rely or live by your own lights An empty hand Is an empty heart I’ll meet you at the edge Where we end we start So slide, in the blink of an eye it’s gone Rely or live by your own lights If I have to ask They’ve closed the door now I speak to myself So I don’t come undone So slide, in the blink of an eye it’s gone Rely or live by your light So slide, in the beat of a heart it’s gone Survive, live by your own light

about

Raising Ravens would like to thank everyone who was involved in the creation of this album. It was a wild ride full of twists, turns, chaos, order, starts, stops, tragedies, victories, insanity, sanity, stealth missions under the cover of darkness, pestilence, snacks, candles and plenty of wine, but most of all, the pure joy of making music. It will stay with me forever and I mean that with the utmost sincerity and gratitude. We would also like to thank all the bands Raising Ravens have played with since this nebula was born, all the venues, radio stations, promoters, media outlets, fans, friends and family who have supported along the way and made it possible to continue under particularly strange and challenging circumstances.

Special thanks and mentions to the following amazing humans and beasts who were so closely involved and absolutely left a shiny little piece of their soul on every single song on this album. Lynne Saggus (mum), Robert Finlayson, Solomon Abraham, Amara, Caelia, Mairin, Blake, Maddy, Paul Angel, Denise and Peter, Ariel & Christian, Anne McLean, Deb Gann, Jasmine Saunders, Lachlan Mitchell, Reyna, Rebecca Sheehan, Nitocris, The Mis-Made, Fyreflyes, Michael Paul Crowley Mills, Kristie Rue, Josh Manzione, Karen Uzulac, Luke Eldridge, Michael Goerl, Skarlett Saramore, Nik Philpott, Ray Ahn, Peter Black, Suzanne Rex, Paul Stamos, Michael Branagh, James Lopes, Wayne Joyner, Dave Stephanoff, Trish and Kevin Doyle, Chris, Katrina, Shannon, Danielle Sullivan, Bonnie, Kane Dyson, Lily, Bo, Hayden Anderson, Kat Viles, Ash Acid, Cyril, Honey Brown, Poppy, Eli, Itty Bitty Kitty, Charlotte 'Mummy' Choo Choo, Pumpkin, "Phil Collins for putting something in the air" - Lara.
